This recipe uses a slightly spicy sesame-ginger marinade that gets brushed on as a glaze for a double dose of flavour.
This teriyaki tofu is totally delicious, coated in panko breadcrumbs and sesame seeds for a crispy coating. Serve with steamed rice and broccoli, or noodles - whatever you fancy!
Banh Mi is a Vietnamese street food classic, and we’ve made a vegan version. We have used shiitakes cooked in soy to add an extra savoury depth to the recipe but you could use a different mushroom instead if you prefer.
Crispy tofu needs to be added to your BBQ table asap. This is a combination I first tried in Vietnam – nuoc cham is such an addictive dipping sauce that it’s tempting to drink it straight up. If you can resist, save some and use it for your crispy tofu instead.
