We love fried chicken, it's one of the nation's favourite takeaways with its truly irresistible tender chicken and golden, crispy batter. But its long preparation can be a little intimidating. If you're a fried chicken virgin this easy fried chicken recipe is the perfect place the start.
There's no marinating or waiting around, just slice the chicken breast in half, get it coated in egg and spiced flour and it's straight into the pan where we shallow fry for just 6 minutes. Shallowing frying is great for the first time fryer as you use half the oil, making it much less scary than a huge pan of hot oil.
Our Caesar dressing is also built for speed and ease as we use a fork, pasta bowl and good old fashioned muscle power to whip up the dressing in just 5 minutes. Meaning there's less washing up and more eating time!
This fried chicken caesar sandwich is truly delish and perfect for a special lunch or even a weeknight dinner.
